UMC Clergy Financial Well-Being Initiative

The UMC Clergy Financial Well-Being Initiative is a national effort to ensure the financial well-being of United Methodist clergy. Wespath Benefits and Investments, in partnership with the National Association of United Methodist Foundations (NAUMF) and the General Board of Higher Education and Ministry (GBHEM), are working together with annual conferences to coordinate resources and foster innovative approaches to ensure the financial well-being of clergy throughout their lives – from the first steps of discerning God’s call to ministry through retirement.

Our Priorities

The Initiative focuses on three priorities:

Rev. David Bell, president, NAUMF and director of the Michigan UM Foundation
