Focus on Your Spiritual Life

Spiritual well-being can bring inner peace—a contentment with your current situation and yourself. This dimension centers on relationships and activities that support and enhance your spiritual well-being, such as prayer, meditation and worship.

Cultivate Spiritual Growth

man with Bible

Personal spiritual enrichment is vital—and sometimes overlooked by those who serve others.

  1. Set aside time to work on your own spiritual enrichment.
  2. Allow yourself to be free from the weight of others’ emotional and spiritual burdens.
  3. Focus on work/life balance, personal centeredness and living in the present moment.
  4. Engage in daily devotionals such as the Daily Devotional from the Upper Room from The General Board of Discipleship (GBOD).
