Listen to Your Inner Self
Your emotional well-being affects everything you do. When stress, anxiety or life changes show up, taking care of your emotional health can help you feel more balanced and resilient. This dimension includes your ability to notice your feelings, cope with stress, build healthy habits and reach out when you need support.
Whether you are managing everyday stress or looking for structured support, there are programs and resources available through HealthFlex to meet you where you are.
Programs to Support Your Emotional Well-Being
Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
Participants covered by HealthFlex—as well as participants’ family and household members, including those not covered by HealthFlex—have access to the EAP for confidential counseling and work life support at no cost for up to eight sessions per issue per year. Counselors can help you navigate everyday challenges such as stress, conflict, family matters and life transitions. You may choose your preferred provider within the EAP network. The service is confidential, and your employer or annual conference will not be notified if you choose to use it.
This is often a good first step if you want short-term support or are not sure where to begin.
How these supports work together
You can think of these programs as a continuum of support:
offers short-term, confidential counseling at no cost. It can help you begin conversations around your emotional well-being, with the option to continue care through your behavioral health benefit.
gives you resources to build healthy habits and manage stress in everyday life through self-support tools or by partnering with a health coach to guide you along the way.
