Coverage You Can Count On
HealthFlex offers access to national provider networks, making it easier to find care wherever life takes you. This is especially helpful for participants who relocate or travel, as your coverage can move with you.
HealthFlex partners with trusted third-party administrators to deliver medical, prescription drug, mental and behavioral health, dental, vision, and well-being benefits. These partnerships allow HealthFlex to offer broad access to care while maintaining consistent service and support.
Health Plan Selection
If you’re covered by HealthFlex, the specific plan options available to you are determined by your plan sponsor or employer. Some participants may have a choice between several health plan options, while others may be enrolled in a single option. No matter your situation, HealthFlex is designed to provide consistent, comprehensive coverage and support.
HealthFlex offers a broad range of plan options, including:
- Six medical and prescription drug plans, most of which include a health savings account (HSA) or health reimbursement account (HRA) to help offset out-of-pocket expenses
- Three dental plans
- Three vision plans
Some employers use HealthFlex Exchange, a premium credit program, to help manage how they contribute toward the cost of employee health coverage.
Decision Support Tools
Choosing a health plan is an important decision. Wespath offers decision-support tools, such as ALEX Benefits Counselor, to help explain plan features, costs and coverage in plain language. ALEX is especially helpful when multiple plan options are available.
Tax-Advantaged Health Accounts
Tax-advantaged health accounts can help you save money for health care and dependent care expenses by allowing you to use pre-tax dollars for eligible costs. Ask your plan sponsor or employer which of the following may be available with your HealthFlex coverage:
Health Savings Account (HSA)
Available with certain high-deductible health plans, HSAs allow you to save and spend pre-tax dollars on eligible medical expenses. Funds can roll over year to year, and you own the account.
Benefits Focused on Well-Being
Beyond providing health coverage, HealthFlex offers well-being programs that focus on prevention, identifying health risks, and providing support to improve overall well-being.
