What has CCP been up to?

With the coronavirus pandemic and accompanying travel restrictions and health considerations preventing onsite visits to the central conferences, Wespath’s CCP team has been meeting by video conference with central conference benefits officers and other leaders. Two of the many video conferences, along with the topics discussed, are noted below.

In the first image, Benefits Officer Rev. Francois Lushima Wembo describes to Wespath’s CCP team and interpreter Linda Boulos how the East Congo Episcopal Area has sought to sustain its pension program in the face of devastating floods, Ebola outbreaks, violent armed rebel attacks and a volcano eruption—all of which have occurred during the COVID-19 pandemic.

In the second image, CCP staff and consultant Thomas Kemper discuss the Central and Southern Europe pension plan, covering clergy in five annual conferences encompassing eight nations, with Treasurer/Benefits Officer André Töngi and Bishop Patrick Streiff.
