Wespath's General Secretary Discusses General Conference

Wespath's General Conference Priorities

Your calling is in service to others. So is ours. As a general agency of The United Methodist Church, we're dedicated to our mission of caring for those who serve.

In this time of transition and renewed vitality across the UMC, Wespath remains focused on our core mission. Our priorities for General Conference include:

  • Assuring long-term stability and affordability of benefits for those who serve, and
  • Managing investments in a sustainable and socially responsible manner consistent with our fiduciary responsibility as directed in The Book of Discipline and in alignment with the UMC's Social Principles.
