Wespath Unifies Brand Under One Name and Website
Glenview, IL—Wespath announces that effective May 1, 2026, Wespath Benefits and Investments and Wespath Institutional Investments have come together under one unified name: Wespath and one website: wespath.org. While Wespath’s name and website are being simplified, its mission, services and commitment to those it serves remain deeply rooted in the values and principles that have long defined Wespath.
A unified Wespath brand brings clarity and consistency as to how the organization serves its stakeholders. Operating under two distinct brands over time created unnecessary complexity, including multiple websites and digital identities. Bringing everything together under one Wespath makes it easier to understand who Wespath is and how its benefits and investment offerings work together. Wespath continues to provide comprehensive benefit and investment solutions with the same staff, expertise and United Methodist values-alignment.
“Becoming ‘one Wespath’ reflects years of thoughtful work and careful stakeholder listening by Wespath and in partnership with its Board,” said Bishop Robert Schnase, Wespath Board of Directors Chair, “This step positions Wespath to grow and evolve into the future by better communicating its full offering of values‑aligned benefits and investments with greater clarity and impact, all grounded in our mission of caring for those who serve.”
The Wespath name continues to reflect the organization’s purpose and heritage. “Wes” honors John Wesley, the founder of Methodism, and Wespath’s deep and unwavering connection to The United Methodist Church. “Path” reflects Wespath’s calling to guide those it serves toward long‑term well‑being and financial security.
A unified Wespath brand also strengthens how Wespath serves an expanding faith community. It allows Wespath to remain deeply rooted in its United Methodist identity while also resonating with a broader range of faith and values-aligned organizations, including other denominations Wespath now serves such as the African Methodist Episcopal Church and Methodist Church of Puerto Rico.
“‘One Wespath’ reflects first and foremost: our continued connection and commitment to The United Methodist Church; and second our ability to serve a growing community of organizations that share our social holiness values and want services that reflect these values,” said Andy Hendren, General Secretary and CEO of Wespath. “While our brand is evolving, who Wespath is, and the mission of caring for those who serve the UMC, which is our North Star, remain firmly the same.”
Wespath looks forward to continuing its work with participants, benefit plan sponsors and institutional investment clients—now under one clear and unified name.
