Wespath is a not-for-profit administrative agency of The United Methodist Church (UMC) responsible for the general supervision and administration of the retirement, health and welfare benefit plans, programs, and funds for more than 100,000 active and retired UMC clergy and lay employees.

Wespath partners with organizations, agencies, annual conferences and institutions affiliated with the UMC to develop and manage benefit programs for clergy and lay employees and their families.

In operation since 1908, Wespath manages the largest reporting faith-based pension fund in the world. Wespath and its subsidiaries, including WII, manage over $30 billion in assets as of August 31, 2021.

Wespath also offers group health insurance, Medicare supplemental health coverage and life and long-term disability coverage.
