Financial Well-Being: Conversations with Diverse Ministry Leaders

Join an 8-week virtual cohort from August 19 through October 7, 2026, for Black, Indigenous and People of Color (BIPOC) and Cross-Racial Cross-Cultural (CRCC) pastors to navigate financial well-being within the realities of ministry.

Hosted by Wespath and the General Commission on Religion and Race (GCORR), this interactive Zoom series blends the Wesleyan-based Saving Grace financial curriculum with meaningful conversation and reflection, creating space for learning, connection and renewal in the United Methodist community.

This 8-week experience is intentionally structured to combine practical learning with shared reflection:

• Opening Session (Week 1):
  Establish shared context around financial well-being, systemic inequity and sustainable ministry.
• Saving Grace Curriculum (Weeks 2–7):
  Learn practical strategies within your context for:
  • Budgeting
  • Debt management
  • Emergency savings
  • Retirement readiness
  • Goal setting and financial planning
• Closing Session (Week 8):
  Reflect on key insights and explore next steps for sustaining healthy financial practices and thriving in ministry.
