Sustainable Investment Strategic Partners

Wespath Benefits and Investments (Wespath) works in partnership with other sustainable investors and organizations dedicated to corporate accountability and sustainability. Our sustainable investment strategic partners complement Wespath’s full range of sustainable investing activities and include:

Ceres—an association of investors, companies and public interest groups promoting sustainable business practices and a healthier global economy.

Council of Institutional Investors—comprised of pension funds, endowments and foundations working for good corporate governance and shareholder rights.

Interfaith Center on Corporate Responsibility (ICCR)—an advocacy group of faith-based and other sustainable investors dedicated to justice and sustainability in the corporate world. A Wespath staff member serves on the ICCR board of directors.

Sustainability Accounting Standards Board—an organization that advocates for the disclosure of material sustainability metrics and is in the process of establishing environmental, social and governance (ESG) standards for Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) filings. Wespath is represented on SASB’s Advisory Council.

Principles for Responsible Investment—an initiative of asset owners, investment managers and service providers dedicated to the incorporation of environmental, social and governance (ESG) factors into investment decision-making. Wespath helped draft and was an original signatory to the United Nations Principles for Responsible Investment.
